Dr. Paula understands the unique challenges faced by elderly patients, including medication sensitivities, cognitive impairments, and physical limitations. She approaches each patient with patience, understanding, and a gentle touch, creating a comfortable and reassuring environment for those who may feel anxious about dental visits.
Throughout her career, Dr. Paula has been a strong advocate for accessible dental care, and her work through Mobile Dentistry she has provided hundreds of nursing home patients with companionate oral care. Irene Kim, DDS
Irene Kim, DDS
Dr. Kim is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon. She received her Bachelor of Arts/Doctor of Dental Surgery (BA/DDS) in a 7-year joint program at New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she pursued her Certificate in Periodontology at Harvard school ofDental Medicine, where she also received her Master of Medical Science (MMSc) in Oral Biology. Dr. Kim’s research focused on Quantitative Analysis of Volumetric Change after Two Soft Tissue Grafting Procedures and presented at the Ivy Symposium on Periodontal Regeneration Infrabony Defects. She also likes to give back to the community and participated in the Global Outreach in Grenada and served as the Director of Community Service in the NYU Aesthetic Society as a dental student.
